GENERAL TERMS OF USE

THE EXPRESS CART L.L.C  maintains the www.theexpresscart.com Website (“Site”). Visa or MasterCard debit and credit cards in AED will be accepted for payment. We will not trade with or provide any services to OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) and sanctioned countries in accordance with the law of UAE. Cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules. User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of his account.

THE EXPRESS CART L.L.C is an online platform that sells foods, beverages, and groceries. The terms of service mentioned here apply when you access THE EXPRESS CART L.L.C through any devices. When you use our services, you automatically agree to our terms and conditions. The platform enables the exchange of services between users who are willing to order groceries on our platform from our partners who sell the respective items.

User Account & Registration

You will be the only authorized user for an account you create on THE EXPRESS CART L.L.C. Creating an account would mean that you have accepted our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. We do not charge any extra fee or money for registration. The data you provide for registration should be accurate and complete to make the best use of our services.

The user would be responsible for updating their data which can be changed on the respective interface from time to time. THE EXPRESS CART L.L.C, therefore, has no responsibility for the use of an account and disclaims any liability for the same. You are obligated for your own security in case you suspect that an unauthorized party is using your account. You should immediately notify us at support@theexpresscart.com

By providing your contact number to us for using our services, you consent to our use of it for contacting you directly to perform our service. The use may include (not limited to) sending text messages, notifications, promotional offers, and service updates. There may be surveys to improve the services we offer.

DISCLAIMERS REGARDING ORDER PLACEMENT

With order placement, a user confirms that information they have provided is correct. The users receive confirmation of order placement. Based on the availability of service, the user can schedule the order for a specific date, time, week or month. At the time of placing an order there’s no contractual relationship between the user and THE EXPRESS CART L.L.C. The decision to accept or refuse an order remains in the hands of THE EXPRESS CART L.L.C.

Depending on the delivery location, the prices and range of groceries may vary. THE EXPRESS CART L.L.C would contact the users for order confirmation. Once confirmed, the user cannot alter or add items to the order. However, in some cases, live chat or a direct call may do the needful.

A confirmed order can be cancelled within a limited time period. If the order is en-route according to the technical specifications of the services, it cannot be cancelled. If the user does not seem satisfied with the substitutes, the order in substitute can be changed. There may be delivery charges based on delivery location in case, the minimum order limit is not met.

Order placement and delivery are subject to stock availability and human errors. In case the item you are looking for is unavailable due to any reason, you may come back to us later and check for the same.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

You can make payments via cash, card or THE EXPRESS CART L.L.C credit. Any claims or disputes with regards to the website shall be governed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates since it’s our country of domicile.

Minors (under 18 years of age) are prohibited from registering as a user on the website or make any transactions. We use secure payment channels and accept Visa and MasterCard debit and credit cards for transactions. Once we receive the payment, the users are sent a confirmation within 24 hours of payment. For any reason, if the online payment is declined, the users can make the payment on delivery.

COMPLAINTS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

Any queries, issues, or complaints related to our services should be mailed at support@theexpresscart.com. Users may also use the in-app live chat. If any items are missing from your orders, it must be reported immediately once the order is received. Otherwise it is assumed that the order was delivered to the customer in perfect condition.

Agreement to these terms of use does not intend on creating any partnership, agency, joint venture, franchisor-franchisee, or employer-employee relations.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Customer can cancel their order within 24 hours. Refunds will be made back to the payment solution used initially by the customer. Please allow for up to 7 working days for the refund transfer to be completed.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment. Please allow for up to 7 working days for the refund transfer to be completed.

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

We accept returns same day upon delivery, only if their delivery packaging has not been opened or the products are damaged or wrong product. Please notify us and return the box in its original packaging. In such instances, we will endeavour to send you another or refund the payment. We can only accept returns of products that have not been tampered with, are sealed and remain in the original packaging. If all these conditions are met, please ship your products back to us using a registered courier service and we will issue a full refund. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse any returned shipments if the product has been used or tampered with. Shipping & Handling fees are non-refundable
